Specializing in experiential design and event marketing, Carleigh has spent the last eight years in Washington, DC working on culinary and luxury design events ranging from 100 to 29,000 guests. Carleigh managed the year-round marketing and advertising campaign for one of the country's largest tile and stone trade shows, executing a campaign that increased the client's trade show attendance by 10%.
Carleigh fell in love with the energy, passion, and challenges in the hospitality industry after years of planning culinary event programs featuring James Beard award-winning chefs, restaurants, and celebrity chefs like Giada de Laurentiis, Jacques Pepin, and Bobby Flay. Though the best stories include Guy Fieri and Paula Deen - ask her about them! Carleigh developed the 2nd highest revenue-driving program, a restaurant tasting pavilion, for the MetroCooking DC consumer culinary event before it was acquired in 2014.
Outside of work, Carleigh enjoys biking, creating charcuterie platters, working out, and playing tennis, though she is often found in her kitchen baking cookies and scouring through a massive cookbook collection for recipe inspiration.
